Missions for military are listed first.  Miscellaneous items are last.  Most were American Legion Rider missions that the Patriot Guard was invited to help support.  In late 2006 the three state co-captains (Bronce, Ebay, and Darkhorse) decided to stick to the original Patriot Guard mission statement to only support funerals of KIAs and casualties of current war.   All other out-of-scope military- and veteran-related requests were to be returned to American Legion Riders, the Veterans Service Organization that established those support missions long before the Patriot Guard Fallen Hero mission was created.  Bronco, Ebay, and Darkhorse decided in July 2007 to expand the Patriot Guard mission to include LEO and firefighters killed on the job in the line of duty.
