Letter from
Tom Howard
Father-in-Law and Friend of Fallen Hero
Staff SGT
Travis S. Bachman
To All My Friends and Family,
I have been blessed to have had Travis
Bachman as a Son-In-Law. I have grown to love him for who he was to my
Daughter Amber and for the two Beautiful Grand children Tyler and Kaleigh.
Last evening Travis was Killed in Iraq, by an IED near Mosul Iraq.
My wife Kathy and I are feeling the loss pretty much in that we are
truly numb and so saddened that we will never get say what is really
in our hearts to him and that his Children will grow up not having a
Father to confide in. I know that time heals our minds and hearts
and lessens that pain but I
want everyone that I know to know that Travis was a very dedicated Soldier
and Father that gave his life maintaining our freedom that we as
Americans enjoy today. If we were to
pull out of Iraq Today and leave this war
without a Victory His Life and Lives of all who gave their life towards
this goal will be wasted.
Hopefully All Americans will once again be
united and pull together (The War Machine Of WWII can once again be
triumphant). I am mad at those who
speak of Lets Just Get Out of Iraq before
we lose anymore Sons and
Daughters over there instead of supporting
our Soldiers. America Needs A
Victory for if there is no Victory The
World as we know it today is in a
real heap of Do Do.
I have rambled enough. Travis Scott
Bachman age 30 died August 1,2007
He was a member of The Kansas Army National
Guard serving in Iraq.
Operation Iraqi Freedom. "He Is Truly A
Hero" And I miss him.
