US Army Colonel John M.
McHugh died 18 May, 2010 in Afghanistan of wounds
suffered when his convoy was struck by a vehicle borne
improvised explosive device. Colonel McHugh was
serving as Chief of Operations
Group A with the Battle Command Training Program
(BCTP). He was on a NATO
key leader training mission in support of
Operation Enduring Freedom.
The Patriot Guard extends our sincere sympathies to the
McHugh family, friends and soldiers.
At the request of the
family - absolutely no media and no cameras on this
mission.
Please keep this family in your prayers.
