ALR/PG Special Mission for Fallen Soldier

US Army National Guard

SGT Michael Lee Chenoweth

Tuesday, September 04, 2007

Arkansas National Guard soldier Sgt Michael Lee Chenoweth, age 29, was home on two-week leave
from his second tour in Iraq and was killed in a boating accident.  Major General William D. Wofford
says Chenoweth was on his second tour of duty in Iraq. Wofford says it is "devastating to know" that
Chenoweth died at home while away from the dangers of Iraq.
Sgt Chenoweth was deployed with Battery C, 2nd Battalion, 142nd Fires Brigade, based in Ozark.
The battery was mobilized in February, and is scheduled to return home in early 2008.
The family has requested the ALR / Patriot Guard.  Michael's parents are deceased.
This will be a full military funeral with honors.

If you can, please support this mission to respect and honor this Fallen Soldier and his family.

The Kansas American Legion Riders and Patriot Guard extend
sincerest sympathy to the family of Sgt Chenoweth.

Bring your motorcycle flag pole and flag if you have one.
