Staff  SGT Travis Bachman, 30, of Garden City was Killed by an IED near Mosul, less than three weeks short of coming home.   He is survived by his wife and their two small children. Thankfully, Travis was given emergency leave when his daughter was born in Nov. and then again he got to see her on his March R/R.   

 

(He was the son-in-law of Tom Howard, Past 8th District American Legion Commander).
