To the Kansas American Legion Riders
and Patriot Guard who escorted Spc. Chad Marsh on Saturday, 24
February 2007:
The following post from the PGR site is
from the pilot of the private jet that brought Chad to Wichita.
He noticed the large turnout, as you can see from this post.
This is why we do what we do. It is
meaningful to so MANY people - not just to the fallen soldiers'
families. It inspires patriotism across America, and that's
what we're all about.
Let's keep up the good work, everyone. I
know it is a sacrifice to give your time to this mission, but it
is well worth it. Thank you for supporting our soldiers.

Hello all,
My family and I extend our deepest sympathies to the
Marsh Family in this time of great sorrow. I would like
to personally thank all of you for showing up at the
airport today. I was the pilot of the jet that brought
Chad home. Today was by far the largest showing of
support for a family that I have seen in my 25 missions
so far this year. I want to thank you all for what you
are doing out there and for making a big difference.
Thank you to you guys that helped me lift our lift out
of the airplane as well, I knew I could count on you
guys. I can't say enough good things to other people
out there about the work you guys do all over the
country. Thank you for everything. It was truly
amazing to see how many of you were there today. God
Bless you all.~TB |
