Wyandotte Sheriff Deputies Patrick Rohrer and Theresa King were killed in the line of duty. Deputy Rohrer died Friday, 15 June 2018. Deputy King died Saturday 16 June 2018. A Joint memorial service will be held Thursday, 21 June 2018, at Children's Mercy Park in Kansas City, KS with full honors following the service.

The Patriot Guard extends sincere sympathy to the Rohrer and King families, to all members of the Wyandotte County Sheriff Department, and to the Kansas City community.
