Master Deputy Sheriff Brandon Collins was killed Sunday, 11 September 2016, while on duty in Overland Park, Kansas. His patrol vehicle was struck from behind while he was conducting a traffic stop. Deputy Collins had served with the Johnson County Sheriff Department for just under 21 years. He served in many capacities including Jail Detention, Detective Bureau, Narcotic Unit, and the Uniform Patrol Division. The Patriot Guard extends sincere sympathy to the Collins family, friends, and fellow officers. Please keep them in your prayers. | ||
